Creating a blog schedule is beneficial for many reasons, including knowing exactly what to write about and when to post it. I create blog schedules 1-2 months in advance and today I share my top tips to help you create one!
1. Determine how often you want to post
I schedule my blog posts for three times per week – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Determining a consistent schedule to post your content enables you to stay motivated to write, and it lets you plan content in advance.
2. Find a schedule that works for you
Finding a schedule that fits your life will ease you into consistent blogging if you are new to it. In addition, writing is often easier when you can fit it into your current daily schedule.
3. Brainstorm a list of new content
If you don’t have content to write about, it will be difficult to create a content calendar! One of the best tips to ensure you always have ideas is to brainstorm a full list of blog topics.
