REVIEW: Milk Makeup Matcha Detoxifying Face Mask

Hello, lovelies!

I adore testing new face masks. My skin tends to be dry, acne-prone and dull throughout the winter, so I’m always eager to add a new face mask into my routine to rejuvenate my complexion. I recently bought the Matcha Detoxifying Face Mask from Milk Makeup and the soothing mask balances my skin, reduces oil and clears breakouts!

The Packaging

The packaging of this product is eye-catching and fun. The mask itself is comes in a twistable stick format. I love this unique packaging idea – it is easy to use and not messy when applying the mask to my face. The stick is a gorgeous mint-green shade that bears the Milk Makeup logo.

The Mask

I adore  this mask. The clay mask feels soothing on the skin, non-drying and it is not messy. The mask applies easily to wet or dry skin, and it dries down without feeling tight on the skin. After the mask dries, it rinses quickly with water and leaves no residue. After applying the mask, my skin appeared soft, radiant, and my blemishes were reduced. The clay feels soft and smooth when applied to the skin.

How to use it

This is one of the easiest, quickest face masks I’ve ever used. It can be applied to wet or dry skin. I roll the product onto my skin (I prefer to apply it to slightly damp skin) and let it dry. It takes approximately 10 minutes to dry completely. I then rinse with lukewarm water and the mask disappears in a flash. This product is perfect to apply once or twice per week as part of your regular skincare routine.

If you’re looking for a quick, no-fuss face mask that clears and calms your skin I’d recommend this one from Milk Makeup! Milk Makeup’s Matcha Detofixying Face Mask retails for $29 at Sephora.
