3 Drugstore Makeup Products You Need to Try

Hello, lovelies!

I always enjoy shopping at Sephora, but I’ve found myself browsing the makeup aisle of my local drugstores. I’ve tested a handful of drugstore-brand makeup and skincare products and the results have been surprisingly great. Each of the products that I’ll discuss below are quickly becoming dupes for some of the higher-priced products that I adore and may have even replaced in my makeup/skincare collection! Here are four drugstore makeup products that you need to try:

Marcelle Micellar Water

I bought a bottle of Marcelle Micellar Water after I ran out of my beloved Clinique cleansing oil. This micellar water removes my makeup while gently cleansing my skin. It feels cool and refreshing, without leaving any oily residue that I sometimes have on my skin after I apply an oil-based makeup remover. This formula feels watery and refreshing, owing to its glycerin and hyaluronic acid ingredients.

Garnier SkinActive Masks

If you’ve read my blog before, you’ll know that my dry, acne-prone skin is a constant battle. I have a regimented skincare routine, but my skin still has periods of dryness. I decided to try Garnier’s SkinActive Masks upon recommendation, and instantly fell in love (and hydration). The unique sheet mask is saturated with moisturizing serum and hyaluronic acid to refresh dehydrated skin. I’ve tried many of the masks in the SkinActive range, including the Mattifying, Glow-Boosting, and Soothing masks.

Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink

Maybelline’s Super Stay Matte Ink liquid lipstick has the longest-wearing formula that I’ve ever tried. I own five shades of this lipstick, and each one that I’ve tested wears for 12-20 hours without fading. I’ve eaten, drank, and slept in this lipstick without experiencing any fading or flaking! Stay tuned for an in-depth review of this lipstick line.
