Erin Angela’s Latest Sephora Sale Haul

Hello, lovelies!

Sephora’s annual spring sale took place recently. I always tell myself that I don’t need to buy any new products, but I needed to stock up on my beloved Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. Along with the mask, I decided to test out new skincare products and quickly filled my cart. Here’s a peek into my spring Sephora VIB Sale haul!

Laneige Good Night Kit

I repurchased this kit for the second time because Laneige’s masks are an integral component of my daily skincare routine. This kit contains samples of the brand’s Water Sleeping Mask and Lip Sleeping Mask. My skin and lips have felt incredibly dry lately due to the cold, drier weather and both masks have helped hydrate my skin like nothing else I’ve tried.

Sephora Collection Brightening Eye Creme

After testing a sample of Olehenriksen’s Banana Bright Eye Creme, I loved how soft, smooth, and hydrated my under eye area became. I usually never wear eye cream, it quickly became another step in my skincare routine. This mask contains caffeine to depute the eyes, hyaluronic acid to increase moisture retention, and mudar plant bark extract to reduce aging. I’m excited to try the gel-cream formula in comparison to the Banana Bright Eye creme.

Huda Beauty Kay Ali Elixir Sample

I enjoy trying new fragrances and quickly added this sample of Huda Beauty’s Kay Ali Elixir to my cart. I’ve never tested a fragrance from Huda Beauty, but am a devoted fan of the brand’s eyeshadows, lipsticks, and concealer. According to Sephora, this fragrance boasts warm, sweet floral notes with hints of jasmine and rose.

Pat MacGrath Labs Mini MatteTrance Lipstick Set

I’m eager to try a product from Pat McGrath Labs! I never say no to a gorgeous red lipstick, and this adorable mini set contains three lipsticks in various shades of red. This set contains the shades Elson, Obsessed!, and Full Panic. Each lipstick appears to be matte, long-wearing and pigmented but stay tuned for a full review.

REVIEW: Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

Hello, lovelies!

I wear a lot of lipstick, and I like to incorporate products into my daily routine to moisturize my lips. I’ve always loved Laneige products and couldn’t wait to try the Lip Sleeping Mask after I bought it at Sephora a few months ago. It quickly became a staple in my daily makeup routine.

The Packaging

The packaging of this lip mask is fun, travel-friendly and eye-catching. The lip mask comes in a rounded jar that fits in the palm of your hand. The jar itself is a gorgeous pale pink and bears the Laneige logo. It is lightweight and can be easily carried in a purse, makeup bag, or even your pocket!

The Mask

One of my favourite aspects of this lip mask is the texture of the mask. It feels like a balm, and it is soft to the touch. When applied to the lips, the mask feels moisturizing, lightweight and buttery-soft. It doesn’t feel heavy or sticky after it is applied. It smells faintly of fresh berries, owing to the raspberry, strawberry, blueberry and cranberry extracts packed into the mask. After wearing this mask both morning and overnight, my lips were soft, plump and smooth.

How to use it

I usually apply this mask in the morning and evening as a part of my skincare routine. The full-sized jar comes with an applicator to apply the product. I have a travel-sized jar and apply it with my fingertips. Simply apply the product to the lips and let it absorb. I love that it does not need to be rinsed off. I apply it to my lips and let it do the work!

Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask is a wonderful product to keep the lips smooth, hydrated and plump. This mask is perfect to travel with, and can be applied morning or night. I love applying it daily as part of my skincare routine. Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask retails for $24 at Sephora.

3 Hydrating Skin Care Products That I Swear By

Hello, lovelies!

Dryness is my skin’s worst enemy. I’ve recently incorporated products into my skincare routine that moisturize, nourish, and hydrate. Out of all the products I’ve tried to hydrate my skin, I’ve found three that are holy-grail items!

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

This face mask by Laneige is an ideal product to boost hydration in my skin. It is a lightweight gel mask that absorbs into my skin for extra moisture and hydration. If my skin feels dry and tight, I apply this mask and my skin instantly becomes soft, plump and hydrated. It is formulated with Hydro Ionized Water to deliver doses of moisture to the skin.

Caudalie Vinosource Thirst Quenching Serum

I recently incorporated this serum into my skincare routine. The lightweight serum contains hyaluronic acid to calm and hydrate my skin. I apply it daily underneath moisturizer and my skin is silky and hydrated without feeling sticky. I’ve used this serum for the past 6 weeks and my skin never feels tight or dried out.

Drunk Elephant Marula Oil

Drunk Elephant’s Marula Oil introduces oil into my skin that doesn’t feel greasy or sticky. I was hesitant to try an oil on my skin, but it nourishes and hydrates my skin without leaving any residue. I lightly dab the oil around my t-zone and cheeks for smoother, quenched skin.

3 Face Masks I Use Weekly to Achieve Clear Skin

Hello, lovelies!

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you’ll know that my skin is constantly changing and so is my skincare routine. I love rotating the face masks that I use based on the season and select masks in the winter that will hydrate and clear my complexion. These are the three masks that I apply weekly to maintain clear skin!

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

I am a devoted fan of Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask but never tried the brand’s Water Sleeping Mask until receiving a sample at Sephora. After a single use, I fell in love with the mask. While this mask didn’t directly reduce my breakouts it adds an extra punch of moisture into my skin to leave it feeling soft, plump, and hydrated. I apply this mask every Sunday to give my skin a boost of hydration and even out any texture.

Olehenriksen Cold Plunge Pore Mask

This detoxifying and cooling mask from Olehenriksen not only has a fun mint-green appearance, but it also clears my acne-prone skin. With each use, the mask works to minimize the appearance of blemishes on the surface of my skin. I typically experience oiliness throughout my t-zone, and this mask works wonders to reduce excess oil!

Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask

Clinique’s  Moisture Surge Overnight Mask  is oil-free and has a creamy texture to retain moisture in the skin. I use this mask overnight to give my skin a more hydrated, dewy appearance. This mask works to restore and rebalance the moisture barrier in my skin and gently exfoliates any dryness while I sleep!

REVIEW: Laneige Water Sleeping Mask

Hello, lovelies!

I love trying new products to hydrate my skin during the winter months. I recently bought a travel-sized jar of Laneige’s Water Sleeping Mask and immediately incorporated it into my weekly skincare routine. I’ve loved every Laneige product I’ve tried, and this unique mask is no exception!

The Packaging

The first word that comes to mind when I view the packaging is calming. The mask comes in a rounded jar that is a gorgeous pale blue. The jar bears the Laneige logo and is lightweight and travel-friendly. I love that it is lightweight and can be easily carried in a purse.

The Mask

The mask is lightweight and hydrating. It feels cooling when applied to the skin and does not dry down completely. It smells faintly of fresh flowers, owing to the orange flower, rose and sandalwood that the mask is infused with. After wearing the mask overnight, my skin feels supple, smooth and hydrated. A small amount of the mask goes a long way, and you only need to apply a few dabs to the skin to achieve the full effect of the mask.

How to use it

I apply this mask 2-3 times per week. I apply it evenly to my face and leave it on overnight. I then rinse the remaining residue the next morning and apply a moisturizer to lock-in hydration from the mask. It absorbs into the skin without feeling sticky.

Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask is a unique product to add to your skincare routine. It is hydrating, easy to use, and lightweight. The mask leaves my skin soft and plump after each use. Laneige’s Water Sleeping Mask retails for $33 at Sephora.

Erin Angela’s Sephora Holiday Bonus Sale Haul

Hello, lovelies!

Sephora’s annual fall VIB Sale took place for two weekends this season, and it was a perfect opportunity for me to stock up on essentials in my makeup bag! Here’s a look into my Sephora VIB Sale Haul:

Tarte Creaseless Concealer

Tarte’s Creaseless Concealer is a staple product for me. Out of every concealer I’ve tried, this one from Tarte is the only one that does not crease throughout the day. It provides a full-coverage finish while concealing any blemishes or dark circles. I’ve repurchased this concealer twice this year and stocked up when I noticed my current concealer was running low.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

I’ve re-purchased Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner multiple times, and this product always gives me sharp, smudge-proof winged liner. This liner lasts throughout the day without fading. I can definitely count on this eyeliner to stay vibrant and long-lasting. I continually buy the shade Trooper, a satin black shade.

Laneige Good Night Lip Mask Kit

I’ve never tried any of Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Masks and decided to pick this to try the brand. This is a travel-friendly set that contains a mini Lip Sleeping Mask and a mini Water Sleeping Mask. I tried the Lip Sleeping Mask once, and the balm-like product left my lips soft and hydrated!

BareMinerals Mineral Veil

This loose setting powder is sheer with a luminous finish. After testing it once, it beautifully blurred imperfections while setting my makeup. The finely-milled powder is lightweight and gives the skin a matte finish. I’m eager to test this formula against my beloved Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder.
